Laws to decide on Mirfin
Scunthorpe manager Brian Laws must decide whether to include defender David Mirfin in his starting line-up against Leyton Orient.
Mirfin scored an unfortunate own goal in last week's derby defeat to Doncaster and was replaced by Niall Canavan at half-time, but is expected to resume alongside skipper Paul Reid at the heart of defence.
Defender Christian Ribeiro is pushing for a recall following a hamstring strain as is Andy Barcham, who was a second-half replacement for recent loan signing Anthony Forde on Saturday.
Stoke teenager James Alabi is in contention after having his loan spell extended this week but he may have to be patient as Akpo Sodje and Karl Hawley are likely to start again up front.
The Iron have lost their last four matches but could climb out of the relegation zone with victory.
Leyton Orient will be without Scott Cuthbert for the trip.
The defender has been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering a fractured metatarsal in the goalless draw at Preston last weekend.
Mathieu Baudry is close to returning after missing two matches with a hip injury and could step into the back four if he passes a fitness test.
Otherwise Elliot Omozusi, who came on for Cuthbert at Deepdale, will be in line to start his first match since he re-signed for Orient in January.
Top scorer Kevin Lisbie is set to be partnered by Millwall loanee Shaun Batt in attack with fellow frontmen David Mooney and Charlie MacDonald starting on the bench again.
