Luke Williams to miss Scunthorpe's clash with Doncaster

Scunthorpe forward Luke Williams has suffered a setback in his recovery from injury and will miss the home game against Doncaster.

Williams was scheduled to return in Saturday's goalless draw against Gillingham after a leg injury, but took a knock in training and is now aiming to return in next weekend's game at Shrewsbury.

Striker Greg Luer remains doubtful after missing out on Saturday due to a cut at the back of his knee.

Scunthorpe can move into the top half of the table with victory and have lost only one of their last eight games under manager Nick Daws.

Doncaster, whose 1-0 home defeat against Shrewsbury left them without a win in their last nine league games, will be boosted by the return of midfielder Richard Chaplow from suspension.

Fellow midfielder Paul Keegan returned as an unused substitute at the weekend following a dead leg and is also hoping to feature.

Striker Nathan Tyson is doubtful after sustaining an unspecified injury on Saturday and midfielder James Coppinger will miss out due to an on-going ankle problem.

Aston Villa loanee Riccardo Calder made his debut against Shrewsbury and should continue, while striker Andy Williams is pushing for a recall to the starting line-up.
