Same again for WIlcox

Scunthorpe manager Russ Wilcox will select his side to face automatic promotion rivals Burton from an unchanged squad.

Wilcox has no new injury or suspension worries as his third-placed side bid to extend their club-record unbeaten run to 22 matches.

Midfielder Sean McAllister (calf) and winger Gary McSheffrey (back) shook off their respective injuries in time for the midweek win at Plymouth and are expected to start again.

Deon Burton (calf) remains sidelined but Stoke forward James Alabi, in his second spell on loan at the club, is pushing for a recall to the starting line-up.

Burton have been dealt an injury blow ahead of the trip with the news that winger Zeli Ismail is set to miss the remainder of the season.

Ismail, on loan from Wolves, suffered a hamstring injury against AFC Wimbledon last Saturday and scans have revealed a tear in the muscle. The 20-year-old is looking at between six and eight weeks out, however Gary Rowett is hopeful he could be back for any potential play-off campaign.

Centre-half Ian Sharps (calf) remains a doubt after missing the last two matches but could play if he comes through training on Friday.

Gary Alexander (knee) is less likely to feature after having an injection, but could return for Tuesday night's home clash with Wycombe. Fellow forward Michael Symes (knee) is definitely out.
