Scunthorpe beset by injuries

Scunthorpe boss Ian Baraclough is again beset by injury problems as his struggling side prepare to host derby rivals Hull. Centre-back David Mirfin is almost certain to play no part after pulling up with a thigh strain during training on Sunday, which forced him to miss Tuesday's 2-0 defeat at Middlesbrough. Mirfin's fellow centre-back Michael Raynes is struggling to recover from gastroenteritis and goalkeeper Joe Murphy is still troubled by an ankle problem. Midfielder Abdisalam Ibrahim will also miss the match as he serves a one-match suspension but defender Michael Nelson should make his debut after arriving from Norwich earlier this week. Midfielder Michael O`Connor and winger Garry Thompson remain long-term absentees as the Iron bid to claim only their second home win of the season.
