The 18-year-old has perfomed admirably in recent weeks, but picked up a knock to his ankle in the Carling Cup win at Swansea. Baraclough told the Scunthorpe Telegraph: "Because of his age, you have to think, how long is it going to last for? Can an 18-year-old sustain that level to play for 10, 12, 15 games or however long? "That's yet to be seen, but with a lot of young lads who come in, they do eventually taper off a little bit. "It's up to us to judge when to bring him out or to leave him in, but if he keeps performing, you can't bring a player like that out of the team."
