O'Connor moves to the Championship newcomers from Crewe for an undisclosed fee and has penned a three-year deal, while Wright has signed a two-year contract following his release by Charlton. Northern Ireland international O'Connor, 21, spent the end of last season on loan at Lincoln after falling out with Alex boss Gudjon Thordarson, who wanted to keep him at Gresty Road despite their differences. England Under-19 international Wright, 19, was released by the Addicks as part of cost-cutting measures despite impressing in a loan spell with Gillingham. Iron boss Nigel Adkins is poised to add to the signings by announcing a move that will bring York striker Adam Boyes to Glanford Park later this week.
