The visitors dominated the opening half, going in front courtesy of a 39th-minute goal from Henri Lansbury. But Chris Whelpdale and Craig Mackail-Smith were on target as Posh triumphed. Adkins was magnanimous in defeat but also rued the loss of striker Gary Hooper, who suffered a groin injury. Adkins said: "We are seriously unfortunate not to get any sort of reward for a breathtaking first-half performance. "We deserved at least a point from the game, but credit to Peterborough for the way they performed in the second half. They brought on two players who had a massive impact while we lost a key man to an injury."
