Preparations hit by weather

Scunthorpe boss Ian Baraclough has revealed the big freeze has wrecked his preparations for Saturday`s trip to Millwall. Heavy snowfall has prevented several of Baraclough`s squad from getting into the club for training. Yet Baraclough is remaining upbeat ahead of the trip to the capital, which the Lions are confident will go ahead as planned. Baraclough said: "You could say we've been affected. We haven't been able to train for the last two days because the players haven't been able to get in due to all the snow. "The Scunthorpe area has been quite bad and a lot of the major roads have been closed. It's not ideal but, you never know, the rest might do us some good."
