O'Connor steels the Iron

Scunthorpe boss Ian Baraclough looks set to be boosted by the return of midfielder Michael O'Connor for the home clash with Leicester. The Northern Irishman has been sidelined since January with a knee problem but returned to training this week and may come into contention for a starting role. The Iron`s injury list is beginning to ease, with goalkeeper Joe Murphy (ankle), midfielder Garry Thompson (groin), and right-back Cliff Byrne (back) possibly their only absentees. Baraclough was left bitterly disappointed by his side`s display in the 2-1 defeat at Barnsley in midweek and could ring the changes for the visit of the Foxes. The Oakwell reverse left Baraclough`s men four points behind fourth-bottom Crystal Palace but with a game in hand on the Eagles.
