O'Connor set for return

Scunthorpe boss Alan Knill looks certain to be boosted by the return of midfielder Michael O'Connor for the trip to Coventry. The Northern Irishman sustained a thigh during last week`s 2-0 home defeat to Reading and subsequently missed Saturday`s crucial 2-1 win at Crystal Palace. However, he is edging back to full fitness and will hope to reclaim his place in the starting line-up. On-loan striker Joe Garner serves a one-game ban following his red card against Palace and Matt Godden and Lee Miller are vying to replacing him. Knill has been handed another boost after Leeds midfielder Ramon Nunez extended his loan spell at Glanford Park until the end of the season. Defender Cliff Byrne and midfielder Garry Thompson remain sidelined through injury.
