O'Connor seeks another Royal performance

Scunthorpe midfielder Michael O'Connor is eyeing another scalp when his side play host to high-flying Reading on Tuesday night. The Iron climbed off the bottom of the table with a 4-1 win over leaders QPR on Saturday to breath new life into their fight against the drop. Northern Ireland international O'Connor believes they can take great confidence from that emphatic win when the Royals arrive at Glanford Park. O'Connor said: "If we can get a win against Reading, our next game is against Crystal Palace and that is a big game. It just shows what a difference a week makes. "From Monday onwards, we just worked on QPR and it paid off. "The manager said we needed more energy, more determination and to put some tackles in to get the fans on our side. And that's what we did."
