Scunthorpe boss Alan Knill is hoping to have midfielder Michael O'Connor available for Friday`s trip to Coventry. The Northern Irishman sustained a thigh during last week`s 2-0 home defeat to Reading and subsequently missed Saturday`s crucial 2-1 win at Crystal Palace. However, he has is edging back to fitness and Knill said: "We had no choice but to leave him out on Saturday, and unbelievably he's back quicker than we all thought. "He's a good player. But, I've got to say, the team did pretty well on Saturday, so if he's fit it leaves us with a decision to make. "But it's a good decision when you've got good players."
