Loanee Ramon Nunez is confident Alan Knill can guide Scunthorpe to safety following Saturday's win at relegation rivals Crystal Palace.
The Honduran international, on loan from Leeds, scored his first goal in English football to help the Iron to a vital 2-1 win at Selhurst Park.
Knill's men have won two of their last four games and lie just three points from safety with four matches remaining.
Nunez said: "It has shown on the pitch just what a difference the new manager has made to the team.
"With his ideas and the amount of hard work that we put in, I think that we are only going to be successful with him at the helm.
"There's a long way to go but it is a huge step towards our aim. I think we have enough to stay in the league."
