Nolan pinpoints Iron loyalty
Eddie Nolan has revealed the loyalty shown by Scunthorpe was one of the reasons he signed a permanent deal at the club.
Nolan, who turned his loan spell from Preston into a fixed contract with the Iron until the end of the season, is now fully focussed on trying to keep the club in the Championship after taking a while to make the decision.
"I've been enjoying my football here and they have shown a tremendous amount of belief in me by taking me on loan in the first place," he told the club's official website.
"I can settle down now because I know that I'm here until the end of the season at least.
"There has been a lot of speculation and questions asked of me but I'm glad it's all finished with and I can focus on playing well for this football club.
"I've signed until the end of the season and then when that comes I will evaluate and see where we go from there."
