No resolution to boardroom battle

There is still no resolution to the dispute over Scunthorpe United's chairmanship, despite today's meeting of board members.

A statement released by the club said: “All the club's directors met today and had a constructive meeting involving a range of issues.

“Accordingly, a board meeting has now been scheduled for May 24, 2013 at which the board membership will be confirmed, including the position of chairman.”
