New arrivals impress Mirfin
David Mirfin believes Scunthorpe will receive a boost from the signings brought in during January.
The Iron ranks have swelled significantly during the January transfer window and 25-year-old defender Mirfin believes it can only aid their npower Championship survival hopes.
"The new signings can only be a positive," he told the club's official website.
"I think it raises competition amongst the squad and the expectation of players.
"It only can be a good thing for the players, the club and the supporters."
