The highly-rated Irishman is out of contract at the end of the season and has already been linked with a number of clubs. But with Scunthorpe midway through their League One play-off semi-final with the MK Dons, the 27-year-old is waiting to see if they return to the Championship before putting pen to paper. "I've told the gaffer that as long as I'm playing here and if we get promoted, Scunthorpe are the first people I'm going to speak to," he told the Scunthorpe Telegraph. "I've played the best football of my career here, so if we're in the division I want to be in, and where everyone else wants to be, this would be the club I'd go up with. I know it has got a future. "My future isn't decided until we've either been knocked out or we're celebrating at Wembley. Everyone wants to play at the highest level they can."
