The 22-year-old is one of three Iron players to be offered a fresh deal at the end of last season, though along with Joe Murphy and Kevan Hurst, is yet to commit his future to the club. Morris is wanted by League One side Carlisle, where he spent a month on loan last season, and his agent Nick Rubery revealed the Irishman is not far away from penning his new contract. "Ian's future is a delicate subject as we're still in discussions with Scunthorpe over a new deal," Rubery told the Scunthorpe Telegraph. "But Ian has enjoyed his time with Scunthorpe and is happy to stay there. There is interest in him from other clubs, but there has been for the last two years, from all levels."
