Milne fate to be decided

Scunthorpe boss Nigel Adkins has revealed his concerns about the future of injury-stricken defender Kenny Milne. Adkins was speaking after his side recorded a 3-0 pre-season friendly win at Winterton Rangers on Saturday with goals from Chris Dagnall, Matt Godden and Bobby Grant. Milne, 30, missed the game missed after coming off before the end of the first half in Wednesday's 5-1 victory at Brigg Town. The former Falkirk man has been with the club for two injury-hit seasons but Adkins said his ongoing fitness concerns had to be addressed. Adkins told the club`s official website: "Obviously we've got to make a decision and Kenny has to as well at some stage about just how far we can keep progressing. "We will have discussions during the course of the week. He's not in a nice place at this moment in time, but there has to come to a stage where decisions are made."
