Akpo Sodje looked to be clean through when he was brought down by Webster, however the referee waved away strong protests.
Laws suggested there wasn't 'an ounce of doubt' that it was a red card.
"When you look at it on the DVD, it looks ever clearer", Laws told BBC Radio Humberside.
"The lad has took Sodje out. He wouldnt be walking off with a twisted ankle because he fell over, he got kicked by the center half.
"That's a sending off.
Laws was told by the referee to take a seat in the stand for the second half for questionning the decision, which also left him bemused.
"When its clear like that, I have every right to say something.
"Today that was not acceptable, I thought he was losing the plot a wee bit.
"Credit to Yeovil, they were the better side today", Laws added.
