Laws hails Collins form

Iron boss Brian Laws has hailed the impact of Michael Collins after picking up back to back wins at Glanford Park.

Collins has missed over a year of action since joining the Iron from Huddersfield, but has been at his best since returning to action in December.

Laws said: "I think Michael has been at his most consistent, and that is not only due to his hard work and determination but also because he's had a run of games as well.

"Having been out so long, he has come back and shown what a good player he is. He is important to us and if he wasn't in the side we would definitely miss him, so that tells you how big a player he is.

"I think we all agree that a Michael Collins on form is a very, very good player. Without a doubt, his best position is central midfield and that is where he is more effective."
