Knill - We were weak

Scunthorpe boss Alan Knill believes his side's failure to match the athleticism of their rivals contributed to their relegation from the npower Championship. The Iron's two-year stay in the second tier ended with a 5-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest on Saturday. Two goals apiece from Kris Boyd and Luke Chambers along with a Paul Anderson strike gave Forest the win with the Iron's solitary reply coming from a Michael O'Connor penalty. Knill said: "The players have had a real go but to be competitive in this league you have to be able to match the opposition physically and athletically. "We haven't always been able to do that in the games I have seen. "There are some really strong athletes in this league."
