Knill: We got it wrong at both ends

Scunthorpe boss Alan Knill believes his side's relegation can be attributed to their failure at both ends of the pitch this season. The Iron ended the campaign bottom of the npower Championship and with the worst goal difference in the division by some distance. They scored just 43 goals and conceded a staggering 87, leaving them with a goal difference of minus 44. Knill said: "The league table never lies and I think the goals against column is the telling one. "If you've got prolific goalscorers you can sometimes get away with it but you're struggling if you haven't."
