Scunthorpe boss Alan Knill has revealed he has a number of transfer targets lined up as he bids to reshape his squad ahead of next season. The Iron are facing up to life in npower League One after their relegation from the second tier was confirmed after Saturday's 5-1 defeat at Nottingham Forest. Knill is accustomed to working under tight financial constrains following his time at Bury and will work carefully to make his squad competitive. He said: "We've seen guys playing in the Football League at the moment who could comfortably play in the Championship. "Myself and my coaching staff have seen players from top to bottom. I know there are players in League Two who could comfortably play in the Championship if given the chance. "I know they'd come too, because, from past experience, we managed to get the better players to come to Bury. They wanted to come to us because we played football the right way."
