Knill ready for Iron challenge

New Scunthorpe boss Alan Knill insists he can keep the club in the npower Championship. Knill left Bury to take up the challenge of steering the Iron away from danger, but they are five points adrift of safety. With eight games remaining they need to put together a barnstorming finish to ensure a third consecutive season in the second tier. "It's a huge task here, especially with the first two fixtures being Norwich away and QPR at home," Knill told the club's official website. "But I think in the dressing room there is a squad strong enough to stay in the Championship, or else I wouldn't have come here. "It's a challenge for everybody."
