Knill pleased with Iron response

Scunthorpe manager Alan Knill is happy with the positive response he has seen from his newly-acquired side in the wake of Saturday`s 6-0 mauling at Norwich. Knill endured a debut to remember for all the wrong reasons in the Iron dugout at Carrow Road as second-placed Norwich inflicted a fifth successive defeat. And it does not get any easier for Knill and co as they welcome runaway leaders QPR to Glanford Park on Saturday. But Knill told the Scunthorpe Telegraph: "I am pleased with the way the players have responded since last Saturday. "It will take them a little while to get used to us as a new management team, but the feedback we have had from them has been pretty positive. "We were all disappointed at Norwich, probably no more so than the players. We have got to put that behind us now, but not forget it completely and remember how much it hurt."
