Jones getting settled at Scunny
Jones, who completed his move from Hibernian to Scunthorpe last week, played the entire second half as the Iron triumphed 5-0 against non-league Winterton Rangers on Tuesday night.
"I'm pleased with how Tuesday's game went," he told the club's official website.
"Overall, there are one or two things that I can work on.
"I don't think my timing is 100% there at the moment. I mis-timed a couple of headers in succession, which I wasn't too pleased with, but pre-season is all about getting rid of the rust.
"I know I need to work on a few things."
