Iron waiting on skipper Byrne
Byrne was brought off during last weekend's draw at Reading with a hamstring injury.[LNB]But the right-back has responded well to treatment this week and is hoping to line-up for the Iron again this weekend.[LNB]"The recovery from last week's hamstring injury at Reading has gone well," he told the club's official website.[LNB]"I did a little bit of work with the physio on Tuesday when we were back in training, and have done more throughout the week so I'm very positive and optimistic that I'll be available for selection on Saturday."[LNB][LNB]
