Iron to sign Blues youngster
Scunthorpe have agreed a deal to sign rookie Chelsea left-back Ben Gordon on loan for the rest of the season.
The 19-year-old is currently sidelined for up to four weeks with a hamstring injury and will receive treatment at Stamford Bridge before joining the Iron.
Gordon played four games on loan for Tranmere last season and made 23 appearances for Kilmarnock earlier this term, scoring one goal.
Scunthorpe boss Ian Baraclough said: "Ben Gordon from Chelsea will be joining us eventually.
"He picked up a muscle strain in his final game for Kilmarnock so we'll have to wait and see on his fitness recovery with Chelsea, where he will be doing his rehabilitation.
"We await their response as to when he's ready."
