Iron to host Tykes in pre-season
United will host the Championship side Barnsley as part of their preparation for the 2011/12 season. The match will take place on Saturday July 30, kicking-off at 3pm. The lron say this will be the only game at Glanford Park during pre-season. It is the seventh game announced, with six trips to lower league oppostion also on the schedule. The Iron will go to the Don Valley Stadium in Sheffield to face Rotherham United on Wednesday July 27, a match which will be preceded by five games at local non-league sides.
