Iron sign Nolan from Preston
Scunthorpe United have completed the permanent signing of defender Eddie Nolan from Preston North End. Nolan, 22, has made 24 appearances after initially joining on loan in the summer. Although the move has been made permanent, the contract only runs until the end of the season. Should he not agree a further extension in the summer then the Iron would be guaranteed a transfer fee as he is under 24.
