Iron hopeful over Mirfin comeback
Mirfin was substituted in the first half of the Iron's victory against a Jersey XI last Thursday and it was feared he had suffered a broken bone..
But an X-ray revealed the former Huddersfield man was not seriously injured and boss Nigel Adkins will hope to included him for the season opener against Cardiff a week on Saturday.
