Max Bell, a student at the University of Sheffield, came out top in the poll organised by Johnstone's Paint to promote their sponsorship of the Football League Trophy.
"All I can say is that I try to enjoy myself at every game I go to and make it an occasion to remember," said Bell, who won the poll thanks to his fondness for fancy dress.
"It’s strange because I’ve just grown into the role of leading the chants throughout the seasons, it was never something I consciously set out to do.
“I’m gutted that we’ve been knocked out of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy in the first round but it’s indicative of our recent form, which means my support will take on an even greater significance!”.
Bell won £250 worth of products from Johnstone's Paint.
