Following rumours on the Iron-Bru.net messageboard last week suggesting Lavery could be the frontman away on international duty, it is now belevied that he is the player Brian Laws wants to bring in to Glanford Park.
The two clubs are in negotiations and a deal could be struck in time for the Canadian born striker to play at Portsmouth on Saturday.
