Iron close on Shrimp's Duffy
Scunthorpe are close to completing a deal for Morecambe winger Mark Duffy, according to Sky Sports. Ian Baraclough is said to be interested in the highly rated Duffy to bolster his attacking options, with Garry Thomson struggling to regain full fitness. The former Liverpool youngster has made over 50 appearances for the Shrimps and his performances have attracted the interest of a host of clubs. The 25 year old putting pen to paper would somewhat soften the blow of Kilmarnock's Conor Sammon rejecting a move to United earlier on Tuesday.
