Iron boss set to ring the changes

Martyn Woolford's last-gasp goal earned the Iron a 1-1 draw with high-flying Leicester last weekend but United are still five games without a win in the league and could find themselves in the relegation zone come kick-off time.

Winger Garry Thompson made a positive impact off the bench against Leicester and could be handed a starting berth while Woolford is also set to be involved from the off, with Sam Togwell the most likely to make way.

Loanee George Friend could also come back into Adkins' side replacing Marcus Williams.

Striker Ben May (ankle) and defender Kenny Milne (knee) remain long-term absentees.
