Ibrahim targeting City role

Scunthorpe loan star Abdi Ibrahim is aiming to use his spell at Glanford Park as a springboard into the Manchester City side. Ibrahim, 19, made his debut for the Iron in Saturday's 4-0 defeat at Leeds and showed flashes of his ability. He feels Ian Baraclough's side can soon start climbing the table and is confident he will reap the benefits of his time in Lincolnshire. "I'm here to get experience," said Ibrahim. "We have some good players here and I want to learn from them and help me get into the City team. "Patrick Vieira is my favourite player of all time and he's been helping me a lot in training. He gives me advice, like I need to play quicker."
