The striker, 21, will spend the next month at the Blue Square North side managed by former Iron Steve Housham,
Godden, who came through the ranks at Glanford Park, has made eight first-team appearances - all off he bench.
He ended last season on loan at Northolme, and has also had spells at Brigg and Ilkeston.
