Fighting talk from Collins

Scunthorpe midfielder Michael Collins believes the collective desire of the side could be enough to fire them to safety this season. The Iron are in the relegation zone and lost 2-1 at Barnsley in midweek but Collins is urging an immediate response when Leicester visit Glanford Park on Saturday. He says that what his side may lack in quality they more than compensate for in terms of guts and determination. Collins said: "It's just a case of making sure we stick together and that we pull our weight as much as we can to get out of this. "We have to remain positive, football means everything to the lads and everything to me personally. We go out and give our all. "Sometimes we might not have the quality of other sides but we have to make sure we match that with heart, desire and determination so that, if worse comes to worse and we do go down, we know we've given everything."
