Scunthorpe striker Chris Dagnall is excited about the prospect of making his debut against Reading at the Madejski Stadium on Saturday. Dagnall, 24, has spent the past few seasons at Rochdale and last term his 20 goals helped them to win promotion from League Two. Now he is making the step up into the Championship and the Liverpool-born frontman is hoping to be named in the starting line-up at Reading. Dagnall told Press Association Sport: "It's very exciting and would be brilliant to play in front of a crowd of around 20,000. "We won't know until nearer the time what the team is but obviously I'm hoping to play and I'm keeping my fingers crossed."
