Scunthorpe striker Chris Dagnall is hoping his side can build on their Carling Cup demolition of Sheffield Wednesday against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
The Iron ended a two-match losing streak on Tuesday night when they beat the Owls in a thrilling 4-2 victory to progress into the third round.
Dagnall was on target twice for his first goals since arriving at Glanford Park from Rochdale in the summer.
Palace are the visitors on Saturday and Dagnall said: "After losing our two previous games without scoring, it was nice to get four against Wednesday - and we should have had more.
"It breeds confidence when a team plays like that and scores goals like that - hopefully we can carry that on now against Crystal Palace on Saturday."
