Coventry game survives weather

Saturday's Championship game against Coventry CIty will go ahead after the Glanford Park pitch passed an inspection. There was substantial snow overnight in North Lincolnshire, but the layers of snow on top of the pitch coverings prevented the surface from hardening. Craig Pawson, the match referee, completed his inspection at 10am, five hours before the scheduled kick-off.
