Byrne loan extended

Oldham have agreed to extend the loan of Cliff Byrne by a forthnight after the Irishman's loan spell was frozen during the International break.

It means Byrne will now be available for the trip to Wycombe on December 14th and the home game with Morecambe the following weekend.

Brian Laws said: “We’ve taken advantage of the system and the fact we weren’t playing and we’re thankful Oldham have gone along with it".
