The 27-year-old defender missed Monday's home defeat to West Brom through suspension following his red card against Middlesbrough on Boxing Day.[LNB]With Andrew Wright, Byrne's replacement against the Baggies, being sent off in that game and suspended on Saturday, the club captain looks likely to come back into the team at right-back.[LNB]"I've got some great FA Cup third-round memories with Scunthorpe, taking on Premier League sides like Leeds, Chelsea and Manchester City during my time here. We've been fortunate in the draw at times and we've always given a good account of ourselves," Byrne told the club's official website.[LNB]"We face Barnsley at home in the third round on Saturday and we see it as a great chance to reach the fourth round. Make no mistake, it will be a difficult game. They are on a good run but we feel capable of getting a result and making sure we're in the hat for the next round.[LNB]"FA Cup ties are always that little bit special and Saturday will be no different. At home we're a match for anybody."[LNB][LNB]
