The former Celtic, Swansea and West Brom striker Beattie is without a club after being released by Barnet at the end of last term.
Winnall was released by Wolves at the end of last season having made only one first team appearance during his time at Molyneux.
He enjoyed a fruitful loan spell at Burton Albion in 2011 scoring 7 times for the Brewers.
