Baraclough: We have enough to avoid drop

Manager Ian Baraclough still believes Scunthorpe will avoid relegation despite being worried by the heavy 5-1 defeat at home to Hull. Joe Garner`s 55th-minute header proved mere consolation as the Tigers mauled a struggling Iron side without a home win since August. But Baraclough insisted: "We have got some strong characters in our dressing room now. There is enough there to make believe that we are still more than capable of getting out of trouble. "Once again we have made it difficult for ourselves by giving away an early goal. But after that I thought we were the dominant side and we didn't want half-time to come. "But individual errors are costing us dearly and that is what we have got to try and stamp out. "We have got to make sure the new faces settle in quickly but, despite the 5-1 result, I did think there were some promising signs for us."
