Baraclough targets midfielder

Scunthorpe boss Ian Baraclough remains hopeful of signing a left-sided midfielder on loan. Martyn Woolford's sale to Bristol City last month has left the Iron short of options on the left flank but Baraclough is scouring the loan market. He said: "I've asked one or two questions and I'm waiting for clubs to get back to me. "Things are cagey at the moment. Just after January people have sorted their squads out and might be reluctant to let people go. "There has been a reluctance to let the people I've asked about go. It's no hidden secret that we're looking for a left-sider to replace Martyn Woolford."
