Baraclough retains faith in new boys

Scunthorpe boss Ian Baraclough is confident that his new recruits can help to haul the club out of the relegation zone. The Iron have lost 10 of their last 12 games, are without a win at home since August and lie second-bottom of the Championship. Yet Baraclough, who brought in nine new faces during January, saw a positive reaction following Saturday's 5-1 home thumping against Hull. He said: "They've got to come together and sharpish but I know they they will help me get the changes made. "We were speaking for 25 minutes after the game and there's lads there who are trying to get the best out of each other. "That's why I've still got the confidence, even after a 5-1 defeat to our local rivals, we've got enough to get us out of trouble."
