Baraclough baffled by Iron loss

Scunthorpe's sixth successive home defeat in the 2-1 loss to Watford was a bitter pill to swallow for manager Ian Baraclough. Baraclough's men opened the scoring through Martyn Woolford, just minutes after Michael O'Connor had missed a penalty, but they were beaten by goals from Danny Graham and Matthew Whichelow. "I'm still not really sure how we managed to lose it," he confessed. "I thought we played some good football, particularly early on, and were the better team. "But once again we created some good chances but failed to take them. We could and should have had the game wrapped up. "But in the end we were punished for two poor goals which we gave away. "When the floodlights failed for the second time and the game was in danger of being called off, I was certainly not wanting it to be finished."
