The Kilmarnock striker Conor Sammon will head to Glanford Park on Monday to discuss personal terms over a move to North Lincolnshire. Scunthorpe have had a bid accepted for the player and been given permission to discuss personal talks with him. "I would be very disappointed if we can't wrap that deal up, he is a decent player," said Ian Baraclough, the Iron manager, speaking on BBC Radio Humberside.   "He is strong, he works hard and is somebody up top as the kind of player we've been lacking.   "We will be speaking over the weekend. He's not had a club yet or spoken to us face-to-face. once we get him in hopefully we can tie the deal up."   Baraclough had initially denied making a bid in the Dublin-born forward, and hoped the public link would not attract other suitors. "The fact it has come out from that end is unfortunate, and hopefully that doesn't alert other people," he said. "I'm not going to say what the price is. It is a good bid and one we feel is fair, for this club it is a fair size. We've put a good bid in, the chairman has backed me."
